What Is A Day 2 Rating ?? |
In reality, unless we're having guests (or had a reeeaallly bad day!) a bottle of wine last more than a day. You'd hate to cork a great bottle on Friday only to end up with vinegar on Saturday. And in many cases, a second day wine opens up to new flavors and nuances. So I started taking note of how well a wine holds up its second day.
A: just as strong day 2 as day 1. B: losing some of its distinctiveness, but still drinkable. C: well, maybe there's a receipe needing some Red??
